I was employed as a research scientist in the molten carbonate fuel cell (MCFC) program. My tasks included preparing ceramic cathode materials, running MCFC's, performing post-run microscopy, running metal corrosion experiments in high temperature salt environments and analyzing data.
June - August 1993: Journalism internship
The Daily and Sunday Herald; Roanoke Rapids, NC
My tasks during this internship included six weeks of front page reporting, two weeks of publishing and one week in circulation.
